I liked this blog because he just simplifies the basic web page startup. He is correct in saying that it is alot cheaper and time efficient to "borrow" someone else's page to begin with. As far as for beginners at web page design, I can understand wanting to be really creative and have an awesomely designed page. However, knowing how to be creative and cheap is where all the really good web sites have taken off from. (i.e. Myspace, Google, etc.)

This blog was neat to read because its true, so many people try to make their page stand out and end up paying more money, when it's better to be simple. most people don't want to spend a lot of time on one page, they want to find what they need and that's it.

This blog did not totally kill me to read. I liked how he didn't write it as a text book kind of blog. He wrote it as if he was actually there telling you what to do. He gave good advice about how to start a website and gave reasons why you should do it a certain way.

He does make this blog easy to read and understand. Making use of what is already on the web makes things easier and less of a hassle.

This blog was very informative on what to expect and how to go about building your own website. I like that he suggested using others sites for inspiration and to start off your project. Some the discussion was a little bit over my head, but I still grasped the point of this blog.

I "get" how it would be easy to get caught up in the details, the desire to be original..innovative in a web design. However, I totally agree with the idea to look for inspiration, to borrow. For myself, I need inspiration. From a business standpoint, it makes more sense to take something that works and run with it, get it off the ground and start generating revenue. In the business environment I work in, I have seen firsthand that for most, good enough really is good enough.

The blog seemed to be very helpful in suggesting ways on how to plan a webpage such as: looking at other sites for inspiration and planning the layouts in photoshop, and also not to stress on how "original" your page must be, make it simple and eye catching.

I enjoyed the blog because he made a lot of good points on building a website and how non-expensive it can be. He doesn't make it so that you have to make a difficult website that people don't really have to or want to see. When I think about building websites I think of the acronym KISS:Keep It Simple Stupid.

this particular thought of this wed design is different then what i was taught in high school but there are very good points in this blog but i disagree on the fact that you need a designer when you can do the whole thing by your self. When you look at web sites that what make you think that you can maybe be able to make a better one in different way and by copie righting it. this blog does tell all the basic that you can do. This blog was very intersting though on the thought of beginning the start of the web site aking

This is good information that everyone should know. Building a website has to be creative and the best way to do it is by working in photoshop. A hint to built a great website is by using simplicity, what people needs to be informed of and dont forget to hang some cool images and colors. Another thing you have to keep in mind is to not throw alot of heavy staff in it because you might make your website slow.

I Agree With This Blog. Sometimes You Cant Always Stand Out When There Were Billions Before You. I Think Being Simplistic And Making Your Webpage As User-Friendly As Possible Is The Right Way To go. Because If You Over Do It, Some Users Wouldnt Even Bother Looking Long. I Believe He Gave Some Good Advice.

Not too many people start out with a fully designed and functioning website unless they are willing to pay for it. I believe it takes time and patience to get one up and running and should be simple.
